UAA Privacy Policy

On August 15, 2013, the UAA Board approved a privacy policy. It is as follows:

The USAID Alumni Association is committed to protecting the privacy of USAID alumni and all who visit our website.

We avoid making unnecessary requests for personal information. We collect only individual information that is voluntarily provided to us. Personal information provided to us (other than information provided for publication), such as name and contact information, is retained on a password-protected registry (the Alumni Directory) available to other USAID alumni. We do not retain any personal financial information, such as that provided to make contributions to UAA.

We do not sell personal information or share it with any other organization. When we co-sponsor an event with another organization we send invitations to our members and ask the co-sponsor to use its own mailing list.

At any time, you can opt out of receiving e-mail distributed by UAA by contacting us at the following address: office@usaidalumni.org. Please include the word “UNSUBSCRIBE” in the subject line of your message. You can also remove any of your personal information from our website by writing to that same address.
